Review: ACID by Emma Pass

Jenna Strong is in prison for killing her parents, put there by an organisation called ACID who control everything. But that’s only the start of refreshing stand-alone ACID by Emma Pass.

There are so many parts to the book that are wildly different but not in a bad way – it makes you wonder what’s coming next and surprises you by going in completely different directions. It’s essentially a dystopian story and there are parts that feel familiar but there are plenty of new ideas too.

I would have liked more action in the story, and I guessed the twists, but overall I really enjoyed reading and am looking forward to The Fearless – another standalone by the author.
